LOUISE GOOGINS, President
Louise Googins has been helping people with their money since 1978. Googins Advisors Inc. takes its mission of helping people achieve financial independence seriously. Over the years, people have been pleased to see how compound interest and consistent tax planning can help achieve their long-term goals.
Louise holds licenses required to do her work in the industry. (Request our ADV - part II and Schedules.) Louise has conducted seminars on financial planning and hosted radio talk programs.
RICHARD MARTIN, Advisor
“Rick” comes to us from Farmington, Michigan, where he was employed by GLP Financial Group. He began his career with GLP as an intern while in college. During 19 years he wore many “hats” working in sales and management and most recently as Vice President of Field Operations before moving to Googins Advisors. At Googins Advisors, he works closely with clients to establish retirement and wealth management plans. When Rick is not working with clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife Alexis and three children, Lilly, Emmett and Miles.
LYNNE GOLDSMITH, Financial Advisor
Lynne Goldsmith has worked professionally in the financial industry for over 25 years at a number of financial institutions. She worked primarily as a financial advisor with individuals on portfolio management and retirement planning in Dallas, Texas and here in Madison, Wisconsin. She has a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Texas in Austin. Her professional credentials also include: CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and CFP (Certified Financial Planner). Outside of the financial industry, Lynne manages a farm in Green Lake County, enjoys traveling, competitive ballroom dancing and spending time with her husband and adult children who reside in Colorado and Oregon.
MICHAEL GOOGINS, Administrative Assistant
Michael Googins is an administrative assistant, and has a long history of working for Googins Advisors. Michael serves as a liaison for clients and advisors. He has a degree from Ripon College with a double major in History and Philosophy.
KIM RANKIN, Accountant
Kim Rankin is our accountant. She graduated from the UW School of Business with a double major in Finance and Risk Management. She was a member of the UW Women’s Basketball Team; sports are a continuing interest in her life.
DAYTON HOFFMANN, Associate
Dayton was a recent intern for Googins Advisors and has stayed on as an associate. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the spring of 2023 with degrees in Personal Finance/Financial Planning and Economics. He grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin watching the Packers and all other Wisconsin sports teams. Outside of work he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time in Door County with his family.
